Aisyah is a music producer, singer, songwriter and composer known for her luscious arrangements and immersive storytelling. She first broke into the professional music industry in 2017 through Hans Zimmer’s studio in Los Angeles, and was recognized for being the first Bruneian to work in the American film music industry. She then worked at Henry Jackman’s Sacred Tiger Music studio before moving on to work with composer and producer Bryce Jacobs at Arkenstone, Inc. in 2018. While working with Bryce, Aisyah has been involved in numerous projects including Walt Disney Pictures’ “Christopher Robin”, Netflix’s “Daybreak”, and Marvel’s “Cloak & Dagger”, and has also worked very closely with Peer Music, the largest American independent music publisher in the world, to assist Bryce in providing music for sync in various adverts and for TV/film.
While working on these projects, Aisyah also scored music for her own collaborations with independent filmmakers. She discovered her passion for songwriting and producing when she wrote the score for James Abrams’ short film “Walls” (2020), which featured her debut single, “Memories,” created specifically for the film.
In 2021, Aisyah returned to Brunei and continued her work in the music and entertainment field, collaborating with people from around the world. Some of her notable projects while based in Brunei include producing Lo-Fi tracks inspired by popular video games and anime for Figurama Collectors, recording vocals for "Al’Naito," the first single for Amazon Prime Video’s "The Wheel of Time," and providing voiceover work for a YouTube series produced by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). Additionally, Aisyah performs as a vocalist with Brunei’s only jazz collective, the Elisha Tiga Eksperiment, a group that showcases Bruneian traditional music through jazz and fusion elements.
